After launching a big project….| October 15th 2021
It’s after midnight… and I can’t sleep. I am still feeling this high energy… I am still smiling… processing and feeling so grateful and happy. Over the past few months I have been working hard to prepare this great educational event for all professionals in the Amsterdam Zuidoost area .i am happy because today it finally happened!! Launching-day!! More then 475 employees had the opportunity to meet eachother, gain knowledge & awareness. Professionals inspired each other during various dialogues and reflected on their own practice . One of the activities was a walk near the schools. A practice in cultural sensitive presence. It was all about self awareness and cultural awareness. What happens to me during an encounter? And what happens to the other? Teachers met social entrepreneurs, police officers, social workers, teenagers and a pastor. Tonight I spoke a number of participants and they were touched by this walk. Teenagers made them open up their eyes. The pastor made them aware… the stories of the social workers were shocking… One teacher told me she apologized to a teenager on behalf of our education system. The impact we wanted- was there… The whole team that made this day to a succes can be proud!! And for me….? It’s okay to be awake. To smile instead of sleep. Because I am living my dream with my eyes open. I feel surrounded by those on the same mission as I! Unity and empowerment 020Zuidoost !! Thank you guys.
